SIPA 2009

SIPA 2009 present to make the performing art as a means of unifying the spirit of togetherness. Serving a variety show which was held on August 7 to 10, 2009 in Solo Pamedan Mangkunegaran bridge is expected to be a convergence of various types of performing arts and ethnic (traditional), modern or contemporary.

As one part of cultural life (intangible), SIPA 2009 is also used as a means of Establishing the forces of the community and performing arts community in the City of Culture in other areas to conduct relations with the community and from abroad.

In addition, the presence of delegates who appeared in the SIPA 2009, further cultivate a spirit of unity with the artist or even good for the community, providing education to the public will force the world of performing arts at the same time expect the emergence of multi-effects from these activities. Be it social, economic or political matter related to the resilience of culture.

Pura Pamedan Mangkunegaran as the venue for the 2009 SIPA, has a high heritage value, it is in line with the historical development of the duchy, founded by Prince Mangkunegaran Sambernyawa in March 1757. Beyond that is also a strategic location because it was in the middle of town.

Besides considering the Pura Mangkunegaran as one of the historic sites at the same time it is expected to promote to the world Mangkunegaran Pura. Of course, through the participation of the delegates who participated in the SIPA 2009.
